A Fast Flap is an easy-to-install steel clamp that releases mud flaps from brackets without damaging flaps, fixed body bar, fenders, or hanger brackets.
What comes inside the kit?
- 4 - Clamp package with bolts and reflectors in the box (1 side)
- 1 - 5/8th Bar (90 or 45) with 4 welded clamps and reflectors in the box
How do Flap Clamps work?
If a driver loses a mud flap it will release the flap. Simply insert the flap into the clamps and fold it to close.

Have these clamps been tested in real-world trucking conditions?
Yes. Flap Clamps have been tested for approximately 20,000 miles with various trucks in several environments, including desert, snow, mud, and rain.
Flap Clamps have also been through 800 hours of vigorous vibration testing with an 18 lb weight. To put that in perspective, the bar broke at 400 hours.
They have also been through a pull test. They released the mud flaps after 175-200 pounds.
